    VTG WARREN CUTLERY

    Vintage J. Warren Mfg. Co. (Warren Cutlery) woodcarving knife handle and single blade. According to Warren, this logo was used in the 1940's-50's, when in Brooklyn NY. There are lines above the text that radiate out like the sun. The printing reads: Stainless, J. Warren Mfg Co., Bklyn N.Y. Centered is an arrow that reads Reg above, J.W. inside, and USA below. At the bottom it reads Quality Guaranteed. The handle is 3-1/2" long including the part that holds the blade. It is made from very hard tenite butyrate plastic and stainless steel. Also included is a STANLEY hard-flex curved blade. As seen in the picture, the handle twists and the blade can be inserted up-side-down for safety. There are no chips, cracks or severe scratches. It is in great shape and definitely still a strong very usable tool.
