US FDC FIRST DAY COVERS COLLECTION WITH NO CACHET USPS 1969 LOT OF 14.
Two envelopes have set of four stamps in a block- Botanical Congress International August 23, 1969 and Plant for more Beautiful Highways January 16 1969.
The Beautiful Highways envelope contains a letter noting it was marking LBJ leaving office in January 1969.
The Daniel Boone Stamp envelope contains a letter that notes it is being postmarked on the Inauguration Day of Richard Nixon January 20, 1969.
Two are related to the Apollo Mission to the Moon. The Moon Landing envelope has two postmarks -Washington DC Sept 9 1969, and Jul 20, 1969 “Moon Landing”
There is a 15th envelope thrown in because there are two of the WC Handy stamp.
Flaws -obviously old envelopes. Smell faintly of mildew… but hey they are old!
