Jim Currier (1886-1969) Canvasback Drake Decoy

Description

Up for sale is a vintage earlier example of a Canvasback Drake gunning decoy, carved and painted by Jim Currier 1886-1969 of Havre de Grace, Maryland. Has
an
earlier example of a roman nose carving on the bill. It is branded (FHY8 CORP) on the underside and it measures 15.5" long. Condition: Old in use repaint with significant flaking and wear. Cracks in the neck and head, chips in the top of head and side of body.
This decoy is stored in a smoke free home.
Stand is not included.
