Eastern Shore of Va Antique Carved Wooden Duck Decoy from a crewman of U.S. Life Saving Service on Smith Island Va ESVA.
Provenance: estate items stored for years from R. B. Andrews who worked for the United States Life Saving Service on several of the Barrier Islands including Smith Island, Va. in 1897.
A copy of the 1897 U.S., Register of Civil, Military, and Naval Service, 1863-1959 with Andrew’s name will be included.
Duck body measures 12 3/4 inches long and 8 inches tall from bottom of body. Green paint still visible on head.
