paint is a little worn on bill, odd defect in wood behind eyes
This has a few things to note:
There is paint wear on the edge of the bill.
There is a small chip in the paint, on the underside of the rounded tail feathers.
Behind each eye, the wood looks not smooth. There is no damage to the paint or the eyes, it looks as though it was made this way. I can't quite explain it, but the wood doesn't look smooth behind the eyes. Look at the close up pictures.
