Piaggio carter with point ignition
Pair of shot-blasted die-cast silicon aluminum alloy carters.
Malossi integral project with lamellar admission,
controlled by a large 4 petal valve.
Available in 2 versions which include the entire range
of Piaggio and Gilera mopeds:
- electronic ignition
- point ignition
They can be used with any thermal group, exhaust system,
crankshaft and fuel system.
Malossi lamellar carters are perfectly interchangeable with the original ones
and are equipped with a special intake manifold for the original carburetor
or a SHA 13/13 carburettor.
A specific fuel system with a 19 mm carburetor was created
and E12 type air filter, complete with all assembly parts (art. 1610989).
Given the very limited insertion spaces in Piaggio frames, it was necessary to create a super compact engine, and the great commitment of our technicians is once again crowned with full success.
The objectives achieved are: highly technical product, sturdiness, simplicity, ease of assembly, excellent operating result without making changes
(everything reconnects as in the original engine).
The large 4-petal reed valve in composite fibers ensures smooth and progressive admission that optimizes the torque curve starting from the lowest revs and allows you to deliver maximum power. The Malossi project greatly facilitates the preparers' task and a lot of space still remains for the imagination of two-stroke engines enthusiasts
who wish to highlight their technical skills.
